Curatorial Tour with Albany Sutherland

Join artist and curator Albany Sutherland for a tour of James Gallery exhibition Ode’imini-giizis: Strawberry Moon on Saturday June 27 at 1pm! Sutherland is a member of Marten Falls First Nation in Treaty 9 territory and will bring her community-centered and relational approach to the tour. Ode’imini-giizis refers to the month of June when the strawberry, or heart berry in Anishinaabemowin, is in season reflecting its teachings of love. Fresh homemade strawberry juice will be served.
