Gallery Closure
The gallery will be closed starting on Wednesday, August 13th to set up for our fall exhibitions. We would love to see you on Friday, September 12th from 7-9pm for our opening receptions!
Join us on August 16th from 1-2:30pm for a free online Proposal Writing Workshop with Artistic Director Sanaa Humayun. We’re hosting this workshop to compliment our James Gallery 2025 Call for Submissions. If you’re an artist or curator who would like to submit a proposal for the gallery, this workshop is for you! Whether you’re emerging, established, or something in between. Sanaa will walk participants through what the programming committee looks for in a proposal and how to communicate your ideas clearly and thoughtfully while avoiding art-jargon. She will break down the elements of a proposal: from artist statements, to CVs and support material.
