Hamilton Artists Inc. Mission Statement
As an artist-run centre, Hamilton Artists Inc. empowers artists at all career stages to explore contemporary visual arts practices. Our exhibitions, publications, and special projects provide education, mentorship, and foster critical dialogue, collaboration, and inquiry. Our programs are free and open to all.
Opportunity
The Programming Committee at Hamilton Artists Inc. invites members of Hamilton Artist Inc. and the surrounding area to apply for a position on the programming committee. This volunteer role provides hands-on experience in arts administration. The programming committee focuses on:
- Jurying exhibitions for the Canon and James galleries
- Assisting the Programming Director with gallery installations
- Monthly meetings to brainstorm and innovate programming
- Collaborating on curations, workshops, and other programming initiatives
