Holiday Closure
We will be open this week on Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday during our regular gallery hours (closed on Friday). We'll be closed for the holidays starting on Monday, December 23rd, and we will be reopening on Wednesday, January 8th.
Hamilton Artists Inc is very excited to welcome Sanaa Humayun into the role of Programming Director. Sanaa is coming to us from her position as Executive Director of The New Gallery, in Calgary, Alberta. She brings with her a commitment to better, braver arts spaces, meaningful opportunities for emerging artists, and a prioritization of fierce care, advocacy, and joy in the work that she does.
Sanaa Humayun (she/her) is an artist, writer, & curator, with a practice that thinks about non-narrative story telling, the histories held within objects, and a softness for woven cloth. She is passionate about growing community through means of food, laughter, and an unapologetic love of gossip. Along with Kiona Callihoo Ligtvoet, Sanaa co-organizes Making Space - a peer mentorship group for early-career BIPOC artists.
