Clear Shroud, a laser cut acrylic sculpture, is an architectural mash-up of the old and the new. The old goes back to the roots of our history of architecture, the pyramids. The new brings us to modern building techniques, specifically the glass wall, the non load bearing skin of transparent material wrapped around many sky scrapers. These two elements are combined to create an asymmetrical and transparent pyramid like form, expressing the ongoing dialog between the traditional and contemporary in post-modern architecture.
Measures 2" x 2.5" x 7".
